Are Naute just better Legionary now ? I think they are and Legionaries need a buff

I have been testing quite a bit Naute vs Legionaries as I want to make a Infantry playthrough with Empire only units and I noticed Legionaries are just ass now. Naute even with worse armor just outperform and that even in battles where they are outnumbered and/or fight mixed armies against t5/t4 with archers and cav. Really was surprised by how good the Naute are compared to Legionaries or other infantry from other factions. submitted by /u/KolkanCova [link] [comments]

Permanent wars after reaching a certain point : lesser kingdom rushing to their doom

After conquering vlandia and battania (vanilla 1.7.1) my kingdom is locked in a constant state of wars with pretty much every other factions (aside from the khuzaits), even if we don't border each other.

My kingdom is by far the strongest, most fiefs, most clans (and high tiers one). Yet other much smaller kingdom keep declaring war, get baddly bruised in the process : fiefs loss, have to pay heavy tributes and get attacked by their neighbors.

Yet after 50 days or so they'd declare war again for pretty much the same results.

For example the western empire declared war on me while I wasn't at war with anyone (which is very rare). They strength rating was 4.5kish was mine was over 16k. Obviously it didn't go too well for them. Yet a few years later, the same situation happenned again (they had even less strength ranking, and I even more).

Now it kinda makes sense that being the top dog here, other kingdoms would see me as a major threat. But the AI seems way too reckless, attacking when it has no realistic chances of getting anything.

Basics "relation between kingdom" and "diplomatic" (non aggression pact, alliance) features would greatly help in that regard.

Being the major power I would expect other kingdom (based on their relations) to forms leagues and try to fight back, not recklessly deciding to declare war on me while fighting their neighbors.

I know there's a diplomacy mod around, but this is such a missing core feature imo that it has to be addressed in the core game.

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
