Tactics to win any battle with aserai as southern empire

Make a elite cataphract force of 50 than charge them to their horse division. Elite cataphracts are superior in all ways. Then, charge the horses on to the pikeman and archers then charge the soldiers and arrows. Dont forget that these has to be mostly legionaries. I hope my tips help. submitted by /u/Visible_Tax7920 [link] [comments]

Navigating Bannerlord MP: A Newbie's Plea for Guidance

Though I'm a relatively new entrant to the Bannerlord multiplayer scene, I'm certainly not a novice regarding the game's combat system. In fact, I can handle the single-player combat experience with ease, effortlessly taking on 2-4 enemies at a time. However, the game's multiplayer aspect poses an entirely different level of challenge, akin to crashing an F1 into a brick wall—it feels almost impossible to surmount. This isn't without reason, as the multiplayer community appears to comprise a relatively small collection of dedicated players. This scarcity likely contributes to the game's steep learning curve. If new players could join effortlessly and have a smooth gaming experience, the community would probably be a lot more crowded. A few aspects I've assessed: Defence: This includes blocking both with and without a shield. Deception: Making use of feinting to mislead opponents. Countering: Mastering chambering, a skill that requires precise timing an...

How long are your campaigns? (Console for me)

I've put about 1700 hours in this game so far. I will attribute maybe 300 hours to falling asleep or leaving the Xbox on. I am now left with 2 factions left to conquer before I have all of the map painted. I am currently on second generation though he is now about the age of 52 and my first character died at the age of 54 after starting the kingdom and decimating aserai and khuzaits. My first campaign was squashed after I started my kingdom too soon and fell into a lotttttttt of fuckin debt so decided fuck it I'll cheese and went with finding a good smith (though I try my best not to abuse it as I spend more of my time fighting and running supply's to where my workshops are located (chaikand and ortongard) I absolutely love this game, but I feel like perhaps I'm playing too slowly? I feel like some of y'all conquer the map in no time at all. Fun little tidbit: I accidentally married off one of my third generation sons(18) to an imperial woman (49) (both at the t...

Not sure why I'm not getting fiefs

I've read in multiple places that when you are at war with a faction and convince a clan in that faction to join your kingdom then you receive the fiefs they hold. But I've tried it twice now with the same results so I'm trying to figure out if they patched that or if this was all just bullshit submitted by /u/BatsxX420Xx [link] [comments]

How to guide lords into battling as vassal

I'm a vassal of the Sarranids. We have captured Narra, and it is currently under siege by the Khergs. Our entire army under the command of Emir Nuwas is right next to the city. And, what do you know, no one is moving in to help defend it. We slightly outnumber them, and the city itself has a garrison of like 300. We have the advantage. We could crush them in a defensive battle, then go on to take Halmar and the surrounding castles as well. Only problem is, Nuwas isn't doing that. And he won't listen to me. A few lords go to move in and join the battle, but are getting spooked and leave before joining. Is there any way to get these silly cowards to actually join the battle? submitted by /u/Banana_Stiffy [link] [comments]

Need some advice

So I’m relatively new, have tried multiple saved that have all ended in failure. My most recent save I became a vassal of Vlandia and have acquired most of the central north section including Cities From Revyl to Omar as well as Epicrotea. I also hold most of the castles holding the line with these cities but not much further. I’m playing the campaign currently and have about 1.5 million coin. I’m wondering what the best rout from here would be to creat my own kingdom. I have enough to pay off Vlandia once they attack me for leaving but what is the best strategy to secure other parties to protect my land? Most nobles I talk to don’t seem interested. Also wondering if I should invite them to be part of Vlandia or wait until I creat my own kingdom to invite them. Thank you for any strategy you have to share Ps. I have all the requirements to creat a kingdom, just want to make the right move since this is my best push through the game so far submitted by /u/WhoseFishIsThis1894 [l...

Considering leaving Vlandia and defeating their armies to try and get Lordly Vlandian armor, then rejoining when I succeed. It feels easier to get lordly armor from every other culture except your own. Ayone ever try this?

I’m also the king so i’d be trading power for lordly vlandian armor. I’ll make sure to fill up all of my garrisons before i do it, and spend influence to max out relations so I won’t have a problem re joining. Any other tips? submitted by /u/Drug_Abuser95 [link] [comments]

Stoking the flames of the age old Pendor vs Perisno debate

(Referring to the fantasy warband mods, Prophesy of Pendor and Perisno) Just curious if anyone's opinions have changed as Perisno has grown and their reasoning for why they like one mod over the other if they've played both. Personally I've always loved Pendor since I first played it and got acquainted with the factions and orders. As for Perisno it didn't capture me in the same way when I first played it. So I haven't got much experience with it, but I've been giving it a fair shot recently and I can see why someone would prefer it what with all it's quests, lore, and more QOL features. Are you really a mount and blade fan if you haven't reincarnated your character into multiple different settings and time periods like they're some kind of mythical prophesized demigod that appears in every reality to murderhobo his way across the countryside Submitted July 28, 2023 at 12:18AM by WestfalenGamersRise https://ift.tt/iMpA2eD

Anyone else not like playing Vlandian and do anything to go against them?

I find myself in almost every game I play joining any faction that is currently at war with Vlandia (at least until im a vassal) and when I do make my own kingdom or get elected as the new head of a kingdom i immediately try to take out the Vlandians. Largely this is due to the fact that in almost every game I've played within a few years or so they end up dominating the western side of the map and wiping out the battannians which messes up the whole pace of the game for me. I want to be able to take my time to enjoy the game, level up trade, develop my settlements, level up smithing and actually get to see my kids grow up but instead i find myself in pretty much a race against time to either: A. Wipe out the Vlandians early or B. Build up enough forces to even stand a chance against the Vlandian doomstacks by the mid game (not even late game, normally I see them fielding 2-4 1,200+ doomstacks within a decade) I understand that everyone thinks their pretty overpowered and are p...

Would like to see more interesting perks

I've been thinking I'd like to see some more combat synergies from the non-combat skills, e.g: Steward - quality control --> better armour rating / armour piercing or something for troops Medicine - alchemist --> poison / damage over time attacks for your weapons or commanded troops. A crafting system for alchemy would also be cool, so you can find different ingredients for different poisons for instance (maybe roguery could allow you to poison the water of an opposing army and make their archers less accurate, or lower health a little, reduce damage etc.) Engineering --> already the crossbow synergy there plus siege stuff obviously Also I'd like to see scouting skills grant the ability to ambush, so you can basically plant yourself down in a chokepoint with a radius around your party. You go invisible, and every hostile party that gets near does a scouting skill check or something and if they fail they trigger an ambush where you get some good terrain advan...

Solid Garrison?

I've been loading my one town up with high tier troops because i plan on going down the "Destroy the Empire" route as a vassal of Vlandia, and I couldn't be bothered with stopping Istiana every time Arzagos gives me a quest that makes me drop what i'm doing. I've seen people recommend the "show weakness and come with an army strat" but I would rather not lose my town or even just a few garrison troops to an army that i'm absolutely positive I can't defeat on my own or at least with a few recruited lords. Am i being too cautious in that regard? submitted by /u/UseFickle4286 [link] [comments]

I'm enjoying the new patch || Kingdoms actually lose or die || Starting a kingdom doesn't feel like getting ganged up on

I like this new patch. I get that some notable people like Strat gaming got issues with it cuz of the combat and stuff (but as a shitter player with 225 hours in the game, it wasn't that noticeable for me) I like that kingdoms actually disappear. My biggest gripe in my first playthrough is making a plan to expand but then have minor kingdoms with no settlements suddenly declare war and take a weak one or cause casualties or just in general disrupt operations. It feels more grounded or realistic. (i would tweak it so that, they don't disappear or die immediately after all territories, maybe make it so that clans of the kingdom would slowly leave one-by-one until it couldn't sustain itself and then die.) I like that when I made my first kingdom, i didn't immediately get 2 or 3 kingdoms declare war but something more gradual. I like that certain kingdoms don't get dogpiled or murdered outright but actually fight back. Case in point, Battania actually doing so...

[Quickly amass an Army] Here's a method referred to as "The Call to Arms", that I like to use during Clan Member Only campaigns, to quickly bolster a garrison via Caravans. Mostly a mid-game tactic, that requires financial backing, and can be applied to things other than just garrisons!

New to Bannerlords

I haven’t had much time to sink into this game but I was wondering if I can get any tips as a new player. I’m on PC and I only have a few hours in the game but majority of my time is spent being a POW. Idk what I’m doing wrong or what I’m doing right(if anything). I get stomped by bandits half the time and the other half is when I finally get a foothold I get attacked by another faction(because I’m a mercenary) and then it’s starting from square 1 again. I can only put about 1-2 hours in each time I sit down and play but it gets demoralizing when I’m a prisoner most of that time. I also started in sandbox but I’d be willing to make a new character if it meant that I could have an easier time starting out. Any tips are appreciated! submitted by /u/lilferretfeet [link] [comments]

Im a vaasal of Battania. Its 1095 and i have about 2k influence, $5mil denars, 3 kids and my fiefs are: Revyl, Varcheg, Balgard, Varnovapool and Sibir. I purposely gave away fiefs at certain times that were on the other side of the map cause I wanted a solid location for defense. I think I did that pretty swell as I basically own all of Sturgia. Is this a solid time to leave the Kingdom and start my own? Way too many Calvary in army

So I created an army of 1755 people. My personal party is 100 infantry, 70 archers, 50 Calvary. Why does it set me up with 32 infantry, 63 archers, and 104 Calvary when I get into a battle? Whatever happened to those two MnB fan-projects?

I remember back when Bannerlord entered early access someone in the community made a mod that allowed players to run a singleplayer campaign online, but there were no AI lords, and every player had to go from rags to riches, but it weren't so easy, because the player hierarchy was persistent, so the first players to become kings and lords would then boss around lower-ranking players, like in a real medieval society. Or something like that. Another project I remember being advertised on here, then seemingly disappearing was Warband in text-based RPG form. Basically it was an oldschool text-based RPG, with Warband as the setting. A third project (yeah, sorry, forgot to correct the title, though I kinda answer my own question with this one), granted it's more recent and technically was met with skepticism from the community was Warband on android. Simply put, someone ported Warband to android-based phones. It was a bit weird, and the response was cautious, but it was still inte...

I need some tactic suggestions.

Recently I realized how powerful even a simple tactic can be. I am focused mainly on infantry, with some decent archers and cavalry support. I engane with my infantry in a double-lined formation, while the archers are safely shooting from behind my infantry and my cavalry mainly attacks from behind when enemies are busy fighting my infantry. That feels pretty basic, though. Can I ask You, guys, for some suggestions to better tactics? Both for attacking and defending, also both for field battles and sieges. Is it normal i always receive castles and towns?

In Warband, getting a castle or a city was a real challenge, sometimes your King would cuck you and wont give anything even if you started and won a siege. It felt unfair sometimes but also rewarding when i was given a fief. In bannerlord, i just get them all. Even if i was busy helping peasant and not helping for the siege at all. Might sound stupid but i dont like it, its too easy. Does it have something to do with the game difficulty? Those mfers are encountered the least, let alone used the least yet the have over 150 models. Rarely see two different faces and still see new ones I don’t recall seeing before (some use all color facepaint, primarily green but I’ve seen a couple blue, one pink and one looter doing blackface). I’m not sure why the looters got the most love when it comes to their unit facial features but my guess is it’s to simulate the diversity of the empire’s homeless people. submitted by /u/StrengthDisastrous26 [link] [comments]

In Warband I'd just open a bunch of enterprises all over the world and basically never worry about money again but so far I have 1 brewery that seems to make zero money and two caravans that make like 200 denars between both of them when my army costs like 500 per day. Is marriage just straight up not as useful in Bannerlord? In Warband I'd typically play as a woman so when I got married I was allowed to take my husband's troops. When I got married in this game I just got my husband as a party member (admittedly I did steal his gear so it was still worth it lol) I noticed the main story has a time limit, what happens if I don't complete it in time? Is my playthrough just dead if I don't complete the story before the timer? Did they somehow make horse archery even more OP lol? It was already real...

What Next?

I'm about a month in to playing. I've posted a few times and got some help but now I'm firmly in the "mid game" and don't know what to do. The only quest left is to "Defeat the Southern Empire". They're basically defeated, have zero holdings but still have 3 to 4 thousand troops running around. I can take big armies to kill their big armies but most are small parties that I hunt myself. I cannot get them to zero no matter what I do. My faction is one of three big ones left. I have three key towns and am making money. We occasionally have wars with the other two key factions, we take fiefs, they take fiefs. I never get any of them, probably because I'm the wealthiest clan in the faction. I haven't done smithing, it seems boring and you have to take breaks all the time. I'm on PC but XBox game pass and stuck with 1.0.24.0. I died, my wife took over. She sucked at battle and leadership but I got her there. She's even won some to...

Viking Conquest mods

I feel like doing a Viking Conquest playthrough, and I see the VC Balance Mod has actually become very popular. Would you recommend it, or maybe another "vanilla expanded" sort of mod for VC? Submitted July 03, 2023 at 08:30PM by OGMinorian https://ift.tt/tkd9XjP

War hungry Vlandia

In my gameplay the vlandian Lords always want war does this happen to anyone else or is this something that is happening to me? We are currently at war with Battania, Sturgia and the Aserai but they still want to make war with the Southern Empire. I know if we make war we'll start getting relentlessly raided on 4 sides and force us to pay tribute to one of the other 3. Needless to say I'm tired of these vlandian Lords. Question about factions

I thought that I saw something about the factions splitting up when they don’t have any castles or fiefs but I’ve been fighting the western empire for two years now. Was it a mod that I saw and if so could someone please let me know? submitted by /u/Crazy_Childhood_4764 [link] [comments]

What Culture Should I go Next?

Finishing my Empire playthrough, what culture should I choose for my character next? For all these options I'll likely end up forming my own kingdom eventually as well. View Poll Submitted July 01, 2023 at 03:12AM by Zealus24 https://ift.tt/oK5kEPm
