Is there a mod that changes the formation system to the one from Warband?

In Warband you would allocate troops to formations on your party screen. You could put individual troops in formation 1,2, 3 etc. In bannerlord it feels cumbersome having to do it in the battle deployment screen using the sliders. Is there a way to change this? submitted by /u/FingersToKeyboard [link] [comments]

New Player Questions

Hey all,

I recently started playing the game and have been loving it so far. Just had a couple of questions I was hoping you guys could answer.

First is - no matter what the situation is, if I'm meeting an enemy army in an open field battle, they have the same tactics 100% of the time. I'm starting to wonder if the mods I have broke the AI. Right now I have 168 troops, and no matter what size the enemy army is, this is what they do - infantry makes a shield wall in the middle, archers behind them, calvary to both sides. I am winning battles against 200 troop armies without losing a single soldier by riding out to the calvary on either side, baiting them into following me, then using a bow to shoot all of their horses. Repeat on both sides. Then with a spear I solo ride into their archers, decimate them, charge my infantry and run my calvary behind their line to charge in as soon as the 2 groups clash. Is it normal for the AI to always do the same thing?

Next is I'm on version 1.1.5 but saw all the cool features on 1.2 and am considering switching. Do I have to start a whole new campaign to do so? I know most of my mods would need to be switched to the new version, but wasn't sure if the campaign needed to be started fresh.

Finally, I have the dragon banner built in my campaign. The game says I still need a settlement and gives several options. What's the best course of action for a new player that's never played through a campaign? My first playthrough I took over a castle before doing the banner and joined a kingdom as a vassal before the banner. Then started fresh and am back at that spot. With my army around 170 troops, do I get a settlement by declaring war on a random kingdom and sieging a castle? Or are there other ways?

Thanks for all the info!!!

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it. Dickplomacy Reloaded!

Hello everyone! :D I just made a mod, it's called Dickplomacy Reloaded. Basically it adds the functionality that you would find in normal mods, such as Dynamic Troop Trees, Custom Troop Trees, Freelancer, Tournament Play Enhancements, Single Screen Character Creation, and Rubiks World Map into Dickplomacy. ^-^ It also doesn't require WSE, but you still need the older (exe) version of Warband that comes with Dickplomacy. (Though I haven't tested it with the newest version of Warband so it might work.) Also, if you do decide to download it, please ignore (DO NOT USE) the "content options" folder, it is legacy, and the mod is compiled from source with all features. (This mod includes source btw) https://www.nexusmods.com/mbwarband/mods/6243/?tab=description Also, I am hoping to support it in the future, i.e through content updates and bug fixes. I hope everyone likes it!! :D Submitted August 11, 2018 at 09:48PM by amazing_lily https://ift.tt/2KMd9rK

Bannerlord + ArtMoney. Who uses with?

Money -- no problem. Troops -- no problem. Attribute & Focus points -- no problem. Renown -- no problem. Inventory stuff (weapons, armor etc.), food, goods -- no problem. Even smithy stamina is no problem at all. But how do I can search and modify xp for upgrading my battle & other perks? For example: I want crossbow skill 250, what algorithm?
