There was a time when I felt I was learning the game when I just took whatever soldiers were on offer. Then, I learned more about the game, and I went with Fian Champs because I wanted the most powerful units. Then, I figured I'd try an all-cavalry setup and I heard Khan's Guard were even stronger, so I went with a 2:1 of Khan's Guard and Elite Cataphract.
But now, I think I've tried a lot of the most powerful army compositions you could have, and I'm ready to start a new campaign where I do a bit more of taking it easy. So let me throw the question out there: what kinds of armies have you found yourself having the most fun playing? What units make you feel like a genius or a badass to operate, or maybe has a gimmick you find fun?
(caveat: I'm not really into roleplaying, so I don't think it'd be fun to merely play a single culture army)
