Hi new player here, question in the title. Let's say I only want my Swordsmen in Formation 1, is there a way to do this with any granularity? I know there's the small icons which allow you to set "preferred types", but is there any way to do it with a bit of precision? Or a mod which allows this? Thanks in advance. There's just lots of things that I feel like is intended to screw you over:
- You're inside a square formation, but somehow the AI will prioritise attacking you and you take damage seemingly out of nowhere
- Enemy arrow's focusing you
- Loading into a map with good terrain, accidentally retreating, loading back in and getting a random choice between 2 sh*tty maps intended to counter your playstyle. The enemy has cavalry? Too bad its an open field
I can list all sorts of things but these stick out the most for me
Why is this game like warband where the AI specifically goes after you in battle?
