Any way to assign only certain troop types to a formation?

Hi new player here, question in the title. Let's say I only want my Swordsmen in Formation 1, is there a way to do this with any granularity? I know there's the small icons which allow you to set "preferred types", but is there any way to do it with a bit of precision? Or a mod which allows this? Thanks in advance. New to bannerlord on xbox series s

So I finally summoned the brain power to have a crack at the game, I'm really enjoying it but man it doesn't hold your hand much at all. I have looked at a couple of beginners guides but I keep getting stuck not really knowing what to do next. Any tips for an absolute noob to the game? Thanks for any help you can provide!
