Where to begin... So the Battanians get into their fateful war with Vlaandians, but the western empire declared war upon their new Vlaandian neighbors. The western empire and the battanians pushed back the Vlaandians, but then the Aserai attacked the Western Empire. The Vlaandians made peace with the Battanians to focus their efforts on the western empire, and though the Battanians were doing well on their own, the Sturgians declared war on them. Battanians lose Flintolg castle but gain the Kranirog and Mazhadan castles, and then they claim Sturgia-owned Epicrotea during the Sturgian's battle against the Western Empire. The Khuzait declare war on the Sturgians and claim Tyal from them, so the Sturgians make peace with the Battanians to focus on the Khuzait. The western empire loses ground to both the Aserai and the Vlaandians, so they are forced to make peace with the Vlaandians. Are there different outcomes between the first four campion dismissal dialogues?
For reference, the dismissal dialogues:
“Time has taken its toll…” “You’re not getting along with the rest…” “I cannot be sure of your loyalty…” “Your skills are not…” “I was just jesting…”
I think the answer is “No”. I have not been able to tell a difference amongst the 4 that dismiss them. I also know the game design is so quirky that it’s entirely likely the devs built out the different options and never went back to give them different effects.
