Any way to assign only certain troop types to a formation?

Hi new player here, question in the title. Let's say I only want my Swordsmen in Formation 1, is there a way to do this with any granularity? I know there's the small icons which allow you to set "preferred types", but is there any way to do it with a bit of precision? Or a mod which allows this? Thanks in advance. What will happen if I succeed in excecuting all the nobles?

So what happened is that I was part of Battania, after I reached Tier 4 I left the faction but didn't leave to them my fiefs, made my kingdom and war started. After the Battanians nearly everyone except the Khuzati and the S. Empire, declared war on me. This was few hours, real, ago and since then I nearly wiped out the Battanians and the Vlandians.

If I succeed in killing all the, for example, Battanian nobles, will their fiefs become mine?

P.S. Doing battle simulation is BROKEN af, with less than 200 men in my castle I literally won several times against armies made of 1600+ men...
