How to improve auto resolve outcomes?

I auto-resolve 90% of the fights I get into, what can I do for better results? Should I find 1-2 companions with high tactics skill and keep them in my party? Will that help? Do I have to assign them into any role? There is no slot for tactics role, is it enough if I just keep them in my party? As for sieges, should I keep a companion with high engineering skill and assign him in the engineering slot? Looking for QoL mods

Just like the title says, I'm just looking for some QoL mods. Not the complete overhaul type of mods by the way. Only those like affects appearance, NPC faces (cause some are just straight up horrifying) etc. Currently I'm using BannerCraft, Bannerlord exp tweaks, Better Time, Dismemberment, More Companions and UnlimitedCAP. So yeah what QoL mods can you guys recommend me? Thanks to anyone that will answer!
