I'm confused about the battle deaths/ birthing and aging and idk if this is a bug

If you enable birthing and aging, the game sets your difficulty to custom instead of Bannerlord and your battle deaths are disabled? Is that a bug?

I like my immersion so I want bannerlord, birthing and aging and everyone can die

What should I do?

If I tick birthing and aging then it disables battle deaths idk why it does that
