Any way to assign only certain troop types to a formation?

Hi new player here, question in the title. Let's say I only want my Swordsmen in Formation 1, is there a way to do this with any granularity? I know there's the small icons which allow you to set "preferred types", but is there any way to do it with a bit of precision? Or a mod which allows this? Thanks in advance. How do I go to my world

I don’t know why but I can’t load into my saved world that I had like 8 towns and 10 castles in its just not a load option only a load option from over a month ago where I had nothing yet and that’s the only option does this mean that I am done for and I may aswell start a new world because I only have a save from over a month ago
