What the hell did they do to Fennagan?

Bro used to have 275 in every combat stat and now he has… 50 two handed? 120 athletics? He and Caladog were the gatekeepers of Battanian tournaments, now they’re just battanian recruits with fancy armor. Arwa gutted, Corein gutted, every tournament is weenie hut junior? Question about combat?

So I used to play a lot, in like 1.6, haven't played since then. The combat seems a lot more difficult now? Did they change the AI combat? Because it feels like it's a lot more difficult, anyone have any good combat tips?
