So i got bannerlord on steam a few days ago and i was playing all good getting around 120 fps on the map and aroud 90 fps on battle. Thing is one day i noticed my fps dropped almost half, to be exact: From 180ish on main menu to 120 From 120 to 60 on map from 90s to 50s on battle cant remember how but i managed to actually have both kapersky and windows defender disabled at the same time (windows defender process wasnt even running on the task administrator) and my fps went back to normal, doubled up. now the other day i messed around with the kapersky panel and when i closed the program, the windows defender started to work again (no longer the windows defender icon would be yellow on the system tray, but now green) its process started again on the task manager, often being on first or second place of RAM memory usage. And to my surprise after this, Bannerlord was running again at the exact same low values i have detailed above (120 main menu, 60 map, and 50ish or even 40s on bat...

So i am talking about a mod that would make it possible to make monarch take all the decisions. Because be it a desert culture or be it a northern culture, in the game they are both ruled with same admin. system. Which is not really realistic, like, is this Switzerland bro? I recently saw a mod for this game that adds conversational ai to the game, even letting quests be started among other things. This got me thinking if maybe this is a good thing to integrate in these kinds of sandbox rpgs where there isn't a fixed story or moving voicelines. First time playing bannerlord or anything mount & blade related, and I've been following the main quest and having a great time fighting my way up in the world. I opted to make my own non-imperial kingdom rather than join one, and my first fief was Balagrad (which I took from rebels). From Balagrad, I then moved to conquer lands of the northern empire, which is what the main quest pushes for. I took Epicrotea and fought off Lucon's army at the gates, where I gained my second (much more prosperous) fief. The problem now is that the Vlandians have shown hyper-aggression towards me, and it is impossible for me to do anything about them. They've taken over the majority of the western half of the map through endless warfare, are the superpower of the game, and for every man I have, they have 12 more. Just started playing the shokuho mod after about 2 years of not playing. I'm playing campaign mode as Aserai. Unqid is dead and I'm the leader. The empire is almost wiped out. South is destroyed and North and West have 1 town left. I have a huge family. Heaps of kids running around. Istiana's plan is at 1413 conspiracy strength. I'll soon have the empire destroyed. I'm guessing then that quest line will end. Do I then break off and form my own Kingdom? There is a rising in the Aserai and Im no longer getting fiefs. Currently I can't break away until the quest line is done. Literally. No considering speed, numbers, time, food, ANYTHING from the seems of it. They’ll just chase whatever is nearest on a 2D plane for miles while their castle gets besieged right over yonder. Genuinely I LOVE this game and I’ll be playing/modding it more but it’s infuriating when I join an experienced lords army and they take me on like 8 different wild goose chases that lead nowhere when we could just go defend/besiege a city. /rant 120 hours in about to sink another 120 and then another 240 with mods. I’m mid game, have a few fiefs but I’m an independent clan so I’m not a war with any kingdoms yet. So far my relations with lords is whatever (50s-100s) and I don’t try to lower it and I tend keep my word on quests. I haven’t executed anyone (yet) but I know I’ll have to down the line. But besides the small NPC dialogue change, is there any repercussions from having negative relations? Everytime I try auto resolve through a siege while enlisted as a soldier I get a 100% crash. Wondering if its the fact that I'm enlisted that's causing the Crash or if auto resolving through sieges right noe is a common Crash bug. Guys, I recently got into modding my game and got the diplomacy mod on, I got the right version, including the tools as well, but for some reason, whenever I try leaving or joining a kingdom (as a mercenary early game) the game crashes and I gotta quit, it ruined my save file as well, I had a pretty decent run on it. So my game crashes when talking to certain individuals like Caladog or Rhagaea, discussing matters with them dialogue is the one that crashes it. Whenever I defend a town, let's say 200 defender against 1000 attackers. After defeating 300 of them, the rest of the 700 just become prisoners. This has never happened before when I first started playing. If the enemy retreates that just means get ready for an second attack. But for some reasons, whenever the enemy, even if they are 3x our size, after they retreat (let's say we killed about 1/4 of them) the remaining just gives up?? Even though they still outnumbers us and/or they could just walk away? Why are they turning themselves in? So basically for ages I've been trying to get the Anno Domini 1259 mod for bannerlord, I had trouble downloading it only to see that the owner stopped working on it, so I went to the AD1259 continued mod and downloaded it, I put it into modules, then used the module unblocker mod, changed the version to 1.2.12, and yet the game still crashed, after this I disabled all mods then tried again, but yet again it crashed, I'm completely stumped, someone please help. submitted by /u/DeparturePossible199 [link] [comments]

4 years of no wars. Had no issues in the early game, war was fine but now in the mid game no faction will go to war with one another. I ended up increasing the speed through cheats and after 4 years figured something is wrong I had this issue on my last run and I believed the issue was the diplomacy mod but after turning it off and starting a new play through running into the same issue once again I assume either it wasn’t the diplomacy mod or the the diplomacy mod wasn’t the only issue. I only have a handful of mods installed and the one I find next most likely is “calradia at war” this mod seems to be unplayable in the sense that it’s great in the early game but come mid game you have these newly added factions roaming the map with numbers in the thousands and the photo above wasn’t the only location, after losing my mind I teleported around the entire map finding 5-6 locations like this around the map thousands and thousands of troops and in the above photo this wasn’t even the...

TaleWorlds broke all the mods that change culture for settlements. I've been staring at the original settlement culture changer mod's crash logs for hours, to no avail. I’m trying to build a Japanese time relevant army. I know that Japan wasn’t super powerful during the Heian period. They predominately used horse archers and skirmishes and sneak attacks. The horse archer heavy armies are basically useless in the game against any opponent with shields. I’ve been using kuzhait noble archer builds but it’s not enough. So I’m trying to install realm of thrones (mod) but I’m getting stuck. For context I own vlandia, sturgia, battania and about 80% of empire phycoan, danustica and another town which are owned by aserai. The khuz are fine they’re constantly warring aserai. . I’ve made my own kingdom and recruited t4 clans onwards. I stuck every party into an army and here was my result. Get yourself a bunch of these dudes and prepare to fucking exterminate anything that sets foot on your castle walls. They literally 1-2 shot everything their 1 handed Warhammer touches. That thing does so much fucking damage and it’s perfect for close quarters combat because it’s short so they don’t collide with their allies often. So, I noticed that when playing with Banner Kings...... The hordes that would come at me were literally NEVERENDING. Just like in Vanilla, when I would defeat an army, the AI would literally just throw together even more and come at me like nothing happened. After defeating two dozen hordes, they are still coming with hundreds or a thousand troops. And many of them quite elite, as well. This kind of stuff really, really makes wars feel extremely tedious and winning battles pointless, so I wanna ask, does anyone know of a mod which makes recruiting troops for AI nobles a bit slower and impacted after they get majorly defeated? I don't know how this happened I cannot get it to work again. But I defeated a large army and afterwards it showed their entire army and lootable troops. But the cool part is they stayed in. For context: I was invading a weakened castle (Ismirala Castle) and had taken out around 40 defenders when the remaining 40 rushed me and my men. At first I thought I was cooked, but I remembered that I left around 20-30 heavy calvary units in the back of the siege zone. (I didn’t want to lose any of them) I ordered them to charge, and together we took out the remaining defenders with no casualties! In the past, I have been chased down a siege ladder or tower by defenders, and sometimes they even reach the ground.
