Mods with only one Kingdom

I know the whole point of MnB is the chaos and politics of different kingdoms, BUT i was wondering if there are any mods with only one major kingdom or just 2 for a rebellion type playthrough. Armour and bows

Is there any malus for wearing heavy armour and using a bow? It seems like the thing that shouldn't work well because it's not historic or realistic so I just want to check if there's some hidden issue to doing so, or if it's fine to go around in plate mail while head shooting people with a bow.

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that?
