And I love every improvement or changement so far. Well I am 1 hour into a new campaign but I liked th new stealth system and just looking at the encyclopedia relations seems a bit more complex. Loved also the new small things such as troops shouting down your orders. So far soon cool BUT There is one thing which really suck for me and that is the new light system. I really can't see shit in battles, unless with a sun shining at midday. Other than that impossible to fight in the shadows at dawn or even afternoon. And I can't tell if the ai is better or I simply suck. Please tell me there is a fix to this because battles are just becoming a frustrating nightmare... submitted by /u/Plopita [link] [comments]
Best troop combinations to have for a 40-60 party? How many cavalry, infantrymen, and shooters? (Star Wars Conquest)
I'm currently playing the SWC mod and having so much fun being a huge SW nerd. I'm apart of the Hutt Cartel right now and we're in a temporary alliance with the Empire to extinguish the Rebel Alliance. I'm currently holding Han Solo as my prisoner with no possibility of ransom; Leia tried to rescue him but was annihilated.
For a while, I kept as many troops as I could possibly hold but I realize now that having a smaller number of troops and training them to high levels is much more efficient. I can often take on parties of 60-70 without losing more than 2 men.
However, I want to get more tactical and maximize my troop layout. I'm currently holding 7 Mandalorian Crusaders (Pistols/One-Handed) and 7 Mandalorian Deadeyes (Rifle users). I'm also in the middle of training around 16 Hutt Skiff Guards (Cavalry) as well as 2 Sith Lords and my heroes.
How is this layout do you think? Should i be holding more cavalry than infantryman or the other way around? How do you guys organize smaller type parties such as this and what tactics do you use?
