And I love every improvement or changement so far. Well I am 1 hour into a new campaign but I liked th new stealth system and just looking at the encyclopedia relations seems a bit more complex. Loved also the new small things such as troops shouting down your orders. So far soon cool BUT There is one thing which really suck for me and that is the new light system. I really can't see shit in battles, unless with a sun shining at midday. Other than that impossible to fight in the shadows at dawn or even afternoon. And I can't tell if the ai is better or I simply suck. Please tell me there is a fix to this because battles are just becoming a frustrating nightmare... submitted by /u/Plopita [link] [comments]
Could the delay be due to how good games like Mordhau and Kingdom Deliverence look and they're trying to get up to par?
Thing is, if you look at the business side of it, 2018's RPG competition it's pretty crazy, and they know that fans of each of these games will try out (or at least look into) all these other games and compare. So maybe because M&B's combat looks like shit, they're worried that after we'll play these other games coming out that have insanely realistic and satisfying looking combat systems, we won't want to go back or won't want to even purchase it in the first place?
I hope it's the reason, because I'm actually worried about this. I spent an embarrassing amount of hours on M&B and I hope I can spend even more on the sequel, but what if it'll be too hard to get into the combat side of it after Mordhau for example
