This might be one of my most interesting playthroughs by far, factions teaming up without alliance. Can someone explain this?

So I started ANOTHER Battania playthrough lol & I finally branch off to go independent with pravend as my capital. I already had ocs hall & caleus castle so I take drapend castle(from vlandia) to secure my border & proceed to verscand castle which belonged to west empire. (Btw I was at war with West E, Battania & Vlandia) so as I'm besieging, a bunch of Battanian parties are trying to run past like they're being called to an army but are getting stuck & won't pass because my army so enough of them get stuck to where they attack me I defeat them so when I attack the case it's empire & battanian troops waiting for me.... Battanians in green with green shields & battanian clan banners with purple empire troops with empire banners I WAS SO DAMN JEALOUSSS but confused because I dont know what happened I looked at diplomacy & they weren't allianced & I checked clans & no battanian mercenaries working for the west. Ik different fact...

O say does that star-spangled banner yet wave?

O'er the land of the free, and the home of t- HOLY SHIT WHAT IS THAT

On one bright sunny day in 1812, John Madison was depressed. He was President but he felt he was lacking in accomplishments, and the nation was troubled.

"What ever shall I do to make America great again?" he asked himself.

"Reasonable policy making", said his Cabinet

"Temperate diplomacy with Europe" said Congress

"Kill yourself" said the Ghost of Alexander Hamilton.

"I know!" Madison exclaimed, "Lets invade Canada!"

And so the most pointless war in human history began

Thank you everybody that came out tonight for our very first mod night! A long while back we conducted a survey regarding how things were going in the community, especially with our monthly community event the Calradic Campaign, and the most common complaint is that there simply were not enough events!

This event featured The War of 1812, a multiplayer mod set in the titular conflict, including maps of famous battle sites and units from early America, Canadian militias, British regulars and Native irregulars.

We got to blow ships out of the water (large and small), obliterate the White House, kill Francis Scott Key and scalp a great many white man.

We wanted something more casual as well, nothing with stakes, so people can be free to experiment and do crazy and amusing things without the fear of losing territories like in the regular CC.

This by no means replaces our regularly scheduled CC events (next one in 2 weeks, first Saturday of September), but we will be looking into doing this as regularly at mid month intervals.

Once again, thank you all for coming and we hope to see you again soon!

Oh, who won? Well, definitely not the natives!

Prophecy of Pendor - Early Game Guide

I love PoP and think it's the best thing since Sliced Person, but the early game is bloody brutal, especially if you're used to kicking ass and taking names in M&B vanilla. So I wanted to write an early game guide to share my experience and hopefully help someone else get into the mod without as much agony as I (and many others) experienced. Character Creation - Questions When you start character creation, the game hits you with a bunch of background story questions. My advice is to answer these however you like, building the backstory for your character that interests you and helps get you into the story. However , these questions have serious impacts on the game, most critically whether you can create Knights of the Griffon chapters with just money, and something called the Rumor Interval which sounds irrelevant but is the most important thing ever . For a deep read on the subject see the wiki https://pop3.fandom.com/wiki/Character_Creation Or for a quick "Just...

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
