STUCK AT BEGINING OF WARSAILS

I escorted the merchants and fought off two ships in a sea battle . I'm on the Scourge of the Seas quest. It tells me to talk to Gunnar via a golden exclamation point. I go to talk to him and he says thst he is waiting on new." What do I do now? It seems as though there are no obvious prompts and the quest still exists. I need help specifically with advancing this quest...I can't believe I am stuck this early in the game. If anyone has any advice, I'm really desperate. I think battanian Sieges might be broken, anyone else have this problem?

I thought this was on my end, but now I'm not so sure. I noticed I was getting under 30 fps (very often 10 or less fps) and awful stutter, but ONLY when sieging battanian castles (I haven't seieged a battanian city, so i can't say anything about that).

Changing graphics setting yields no changes, and I don't think snow has any effect because I don't have this issue with Sturgian castle seiges. Its all very strange.

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that?
