All I see on this sub is, "How do I kill my wife?", "How do I kill my King?". What happened to loyalty? What happened to romance? Maybe I'm just a simple man, but when I play this game there's a few things I do no matter what. I team up with CalaDawg and teach Dirthead the ancient Battanian technique of projectile induced dismounting. And I marry a nice Sturgian woman who I will love and protect until the day I die. Under absolutely NO circumstance do I use javelins for evil. God help any poor foolish AI who dares to capture my wife, because it won't be long before their head rolls. Call me old fashioned but I take the sacred vows of marriage seriously. submitted by /u/Friar_Corncob [link] [comments]
A lot of the reason I play the game is for at least semi-RP reasons. I use only in-faction troops for my army, and try to keep my personal and companion armour consistent as well.
An issue I’ve found though is that unless you’re playing Empire or your faction is getting its ass kicked, you essentially have no opportunities to get a settlement of your own culture.
I’ve tried stealing a fief with influence as well but even with 1800 influence and being popular, no luck.
Is there a reliable way to get past this? Trade seems to be one of the most annoying skills to grind so I’d rather not go down that route lol.
