Declared war on allied mercenaries on load save?

I’m playing as southern Empire, have the Hidden Hand as mercenaries with a couple of their parties in my army. I started a big battle late at night, so half way through quit to go to bed, knowing I’d saved right before the battle anyway like a good little save scummer. Now when I reload any of the precious 3 autosaves I immediately declare war on the Hidden Hand and their parties abandon my Army. Help with mods?

Hello, I'm having difficulty getting mods to load in my game. I downloaded about 8 mods through Vortex and enabled them in the game launcher, but they do not appear in game. The game runs fine, but I cannot get the mods to work. Any ideas?
