Declared war on allied mercenaries on load save?

I’m playing as southern Empire, have the Hidden Hand as mercenaries with a couple of their parties in my army. I started a big battle late at night, so half way through quit to go to bed, knowing I’d saved right before the battle anyway like a good little save scummer. Now when I reload any of the precious 3 autosaves I immediately declare war on the Hidden Hand and their parties abandon my Army. Health increase XML

Hello, I don't know so much about this XML and Modding Stuff. I need to know if I can increase the Health of my Hero with the XML. Like he need to withstand more hits without an armor on him. If someone knows please help me with this.
