Declared war on allied mercenaries on load save?

I’m playing as southern Empire, have the Hidden Hand as mercenaries with a couple of their parties in my army. I started a big battle late at night, so half way through quit to go to bed, knowing I’d saved right before the battle anyway like a good little save scummer. Now when I reload any of the precious 3 autosaves I immediately declare war on the Hidden Hand and their parties abandon my Army. Can Anyone At Least Help Me Just Play The Game?

I have tried everything and the game won't stop crashing. No matter I do with or without mods it constantly crashes. It's to the point now where if I hit play through steam or a custom launcher, It just pulls the window up and then instantly goes away like it never opened. Any suggestions are appreciated.
