Declared war on allied mercenaries on load save?

I’m playing as southern Empire, have the Hidden Hand as mercenaries with a couple of their parties in my army. I started a big battle late at night, so half way through quit to go to bed, knowing I’d saved right before the battle anyway like a good little save scummer. Now when I reload any of the precious 3 autosaves I immediately declare war on the Hidden Hand and their parties abandon my Army. I'm too nice. Will I ever get attacked?

So I finished the banner quest. And instead of pledging to an existing kingdom I created my own and attacked the southern Kingdom as they had just one town and I assumed they were the smallest threat.

So now I have a Kingdom with one town, but no wars to expand. I don't really want to force myself into attacking another kingdom because I don't want to be a dick. But I also have nothing to do now except tournaments and such...

Any clues if I'll ever have someone declare a ear on me?
