Any way to assign only certain troop types to a formation?

Hi new player here, question in the title. Let's say I only want my Swordsmen in Formation 1, is there a way to do this with any granularity? I know there's the small icons which allow you to set "preferred types", but is there any way to do it with a bit of precision? Or a mod which allows this? Thanks in advance. Does the game still makes your GPU fans go 100%?

I remember getting Bannerlord a year ago and it's sad to say, but I uninstalled it almost right away, as it felt like my RTX2070Super was about to go on flames. No other game made my GPU so hot/loud, so I blamed it on a poor optimization. Is it still a problem?
