Any way to assign only certain troop types to a formation?

Hi new player here, question in the title. Let's say I only want my Swordsmen in Formation 1, is there a way to do this with any granularity? I know there's the small icons which allow you to set "preferred types", but is there any way to do it with a bit of precision? Or a mod which allows this? Thanks in advance. Anyone playing on a Mac?

I don’t have a gaming PC as I’m a casual console enjoyer, so I’ve been confined to Warband which is great and all but I’d love to try Bannerlord. I’ve recently purchased the 2020 M1 Macbook Air (8gb RAM) and was wondering if the game works well on it, including mod’s availability and functionality. Cheers
