Any way to assign only certain troop types to a formation?

Hi new player here, question in the title. Let's say I only want my Swordsmen in Formation 1, is there a way to do this with any granularity? I know there's the small icons which allow you to set "preferred types", but is there any way to do it with a bit of precision? Or a mod which allows this? Thanks in advance. Is it too much to give 1 town, 1 castle, and 3 villages to a single Lord

Right now I made my own kingdom, I have only Wercheg and Sargoth and 2 castle nearby. Irya is only vassal I have. My question is is it too much to give him Wercheg, 1 Alburq castle and all their villages to him ?
