Why did they nerf workshops in 1.8 for no reason?

The entire community: please tw buff workshops they are very underwhelming

tw: workshops are now more expensive and give less money

Ngl it kinda feels like taleworlds is using a monkey with a slot machine to determine the balance changes. The nerfs/buffs makes no sense.
