I'm playing with some mods that heavily restrict recruitment, so my army is almost entirely bandits and mercenaries. On land, Monchug's army would destroy mine, but this isn't a land battle and he gifted me several amazing prizes. What are the main differences between archers with a bow and with a crossbow. Not counting horse archers. My guess would be:
Bow: Quicker, less damage
Crossbow: Slower, more damage?
Is that correct? Which one is better all things considered?
