A poem from our Hero

I have a nice wife, a nice fief too, a castle on a hill with a magnificent view. I have fertile lands, and villages that thrive, hundreds of troops who somehow stay alive. My coffers are heavy, my warband is fed, my enemies see my banner and occasionally drop dead. I have horses and armor, silver and grain, a hall full of nobles complaining again. By every measure, I’ve won at this game. I’ve conquered, grown wealthy, and built up my name. Yet I stand on my battlements when the campaigning is done, watching the mountains fade with the sun. My wife is beside me. My kingdom is strong. My vaults overflow. But something feels wrong. I’ve everything a lord could possibly acquire… Maybe what’s missing another fief to desire. submitted by /u/t-o-m-u-s-a [link] [comments]

[Perisno] Caravan runs are Underrated.

If you are ever short on money, especially in the mid-game where you confidently holds 90-120 mid/top tier troops, and an array of companions, do caravan runs! to start, go to a tavern of a city, talk to the barkeeper, and ask for goods shipment (should be one of the option near the bottom of the dialogue choices), deliver it to a city of your choice (farther the better), and talk to the barkeep of the recipient city and ask for sale of the goods. I recommend having a decently strong party (90-120 mid/top tier troops) first to not rely on outrunning, since caravans gets HEAVY the more expensive your goods wagon are. and a sizeable capital (Bare minimum is 8k, maximum is 25k) to buy your first goods. Caravan runs are different from trading, since price is almost a guaranteed profit the farther you deliver the goods from your starting point. As an example, i had 103 of a decent dwarven army, bought goods worth ~6.3k ish from the barkeeper in Dwallnor, and hauled those all the way to Gronzy in Valahir Clan territory in the far north. that ~6.3k turned into a fat stack of ~22k after 2-3 days of travel. and i proceeded to buy goods from Gronzy, hauled them all the way back to Dwallnor and made even more cash than the first shipping. You can also upgrade your wagon to reduce the speed penalty and make shipments faster. More info on what affect prices and all about it on the wiki article.

Thanks for reading, and good luck in becoming Perisno's richest trader!
