Xorberax's Legacy Question

Does anyone know how this "interest accrued rate" work? Ive played around with the settings but i still dont understand it.

I only opened an account for 3000 gold, dont put any money in it, and every 7 days I just get free money. There is no standard interest rate, no need to put money in it... it just makes money out of thin air.
