Mods with only one Kingdom

I know the whole point of MnB is the chaos and politics of different kingdoms, BUT i was wondering if there are any mods with only one major kingdom or just 2 for a rebellion type playthrough. Is there a limit to starving out troops in a seige?

I'm campaigning in Aseri lands, half their forces were up north and I trapped the other half in a castle that had 0 food to start with. I had a month's worth. After a few days their numbers just stopped dropping and occasionally would creep up a but. No one got near the castle to supply them that I could see. I ended up having to cut my losses and walk away.

Side note... Jesus do their archers have hard heads. Taking 2 headshots from a noble longbow with balanced piercing arrows and still going.

What's effective weaponry against the Aseri? They are very armoured.
