Mods with only one Kingdom

I know the whole point of MnB is the chaos and politics of different kingdoms, BUT i was wondering if there are any mods with only one major kingdom or just 2 for a rebellion type playthrough. Large sum of tournament winnings?

On a few occasions I have won between 50-60k from tournaments I have lost, but a companion ended up winning. Can someone explain this to me? Is this a bug or am I missing something I don't understand? I didn't place any bets in these tournaments either.
