Mods with only one Kingdom

I know the whole point of MnB is the chaos and politics of different kingdoms, BUT i was wondering if there are any mods with only one major kingdom or just 2 for a rebellion type playthrough. I'd like to buy this game on PC, but can I run it?

I'm not really good at computer parts, so I don't know if I really need to upgrade or not. I have 16 GB of Ram and a core I7. I've got a 1070 in my desktop, but have considered grabbing a used gpu from like the 20x0 line. I'm not sure if that would give me a noticeable change though.
