And I love every improvement or changement so far. Well I am 1 hour into a new campaign but I liked th new stealth system and just looking at the encyclopedia relations seems a bit more complex. Loved also the new small things such as troops shouting down your orders. So far soon cool BUT There is one thing which really suck for me and that is the new light system. I really can't see shit in battles, unless with a sun shining at midday. Other than that impossible to fight in the shadows at dawn or even afternoon. And I can't tell if the ai is better or I simply suck. Please tell me there is a fix to this because battles are just becoming a frustrating nightmare... submitted by /u/Plopita [link] [comments]
I am playing on my first playthrough and I have hit a bit of a snag. I don't know if this matters as much as Warband, but I am playing as a woman.
I am sitting on a stable pile of 1 million denars from smithing. I signed on as a vassal to the Vlandians, married into the royal family, specifically Amorcon, and was quickly granted Sargot and Thactorae Castle as fiefs.
I helped with some massive pushes that got us some rebel fiefs, pushing into Aserai, Battanian, and Sturgian territory. I have been maintaining a standing army of 100-150 tier 4-6 troops. Until recently, I had been in every major campaign, leading the charge attached to other armies (I led one campaign to take a rebel town, but Derthert got the credit). Suddenly, I have been smashed every time I go to link up with one of our armies. Seriously, I have had to rebuild my forces 4 times now, and I just started on my 5th, and I am getting angry.
Every time the vote comes up, I am not on the roles at all. It alternates between the same 4 Clans, Derthert's and 3 other large, multi-fief Clans. Derthert has only won 1 vote in the dozen or so since I joined, but I am never in the running for these fiefs.
I am trying to consolidate a bit before I declare independence and my own kingdom, but now I am also getting scared that I don't know what I am doing as a Commander. Any help for building up my power base?
