Tactics to win any battle with aserai as southern empire

Make a elite cataphract force of 50 than charge them to their horse division. Elite cataphracts are superior in all ways. Then, charge the horses on to the pikeman and archers then charge the soldiers and arrows. Dont forget that these has to be mostly legionaries. Should I start with Mount and Blade 1 or 2?

I have never played Mount and Blade but I have been really interested to try it out. However should I start with the original or the "sequel" warbands?

From the reviews on Steam people seem to like warbands better, but would it be better to start out with the "original" first?

And what about Mount & Blade: With Fire & Sword?

Also, is there any must-must have mods? (I prefer to play at least close to vanilla first time through, but pure graphics enhancement etc is always nice if it is an older game, and I have a good system)

Not sure if it matters or not, but I am an "experienced" gamer.

Dickplomacy Reloaded!

Hello everyone! :D I just made a mod, it's called Dickplomacy Reloaded. Basically it adds the functionality that you would find in normal mods, such as Dynamic Troop Trees, Custom Troop Trees, Freelancer, Tournament Play Enhancements, Single Screen Character Creation, and Rubiks World Map into Dickplomacy. ^-^ It also doesn't require WSE, but you still need the older (exe) version of Warband that comes with Dickplomacy. (Though I haven't tested it with the newest version of Warband so it might work.) Also, if you do decide to download it, please ignore (DO NOT USE) the "content options" folder, it is legacy, and the mod is compiled from source with all features. Bannerlord + ArtMoney. Who uses with?

Money -- no problem. Troops -- no problem. Attribute & Focus points -- no problem. Renown -- no problem. Inventory stuff (weapons, armor etc.), food, goods -- no problem. Even smithy stamina is no problem at all. But how do I can search and modify xp for upgrading my battle & other perks? For example: I want crossbow skill 250, what algorithm?
