i can't sue for peace while actively dying

im in 2 front war, all my vassals are captured, i have one castle left after vlandia cane with the 2000 men army and took my city , and i cant make peace even i i want to pay tribute. What do I do with a captured enemy king?

I just wiped out the Kingdom of Nords, took King Ragnar prisoner doing so, and now I have no idea what to do with him. I can't ransom him off, can't sell him off or recruit him. Do I just wait till he escapes?
