Any way to assign only certain troop types to a formation?

Hi new player here, question in the title. Let's say I only want my Swordsmen in Formation 1, is there a way to do this with any granularity? I know there's the small icons which allow you to set "preferred types", but is there any way to do it with a bit of precision? Or a mod which allows this? Thanks in advance. Why isn’t tale worlds seeming to not work on Ai improvement at all

This is my big issue with bannerlord. The ai is stupid as all can be. They can’t use ladders or drive towers properly. I can’t ever trust them to use siege weapons because half the time they destroy their own siege engines. The ai is just a mess! Now don’t get me wrong bannerlord is super fun and I enjoy every minute of playing it! But please taleworlds please! fix the ai before you add anymore features! Anyways, just some of my thoughts on bannerlord.
