I'm playing with some mods that heavily restrict recruitment, so my army is almost entirely bandits and mercenaries. On land, Monchug's army would destroy mine, but this isn't a land battle and he gifted me several amazing prizes. So I played warband a lot and loved it. Saw this game and gave it a try and ffs it's hard, even on easy difficulty.
I'm assuming forest bandits aren't enemies you can just use to train your soldiers and get xp anymore? I went into battle with around 20 soldiers, 1/4 were 3x upgraded foot soldiers, 1/4 x3 upgraded archers, the rest were a mix of infantry and archers.
Went up against around 13 basic forest bandits and I come out winning but only had 4 soldiers left alive. Wtf is that lol
Aren't bandits supposed to be what you use to train and get xp for your party? How are they demolishing upgraded soldiers so easily? Lol
On top of that they do an incredible amount of damage to me even though I have like, decent, not great, but decent gear.
This game is so much harder.
