I know there is (was?) a mod there you could have like a personal guard of 10 units in every battle. But is there any working mod out there that fix so you can have that, but also decide on your own what units shall be in it? I was commanding an army of about 950, and we were attacked by an aserai army of only 675. I was surprised they pursued us and thought it would be a sure victory, even if costly. I normally have no problem defeating even or slightly larger forces. My party is a very diverse maxed out force of 190, and all the accompanying parties are northern empire, mostly mid to high tier troops. The aserai were about 50/50 between cavalry/horse archers and infantry. They wrecked us, eliminated my entire army and they only lost 350 men. (I save scummed so I can try again). Any recommendations for strategies to defeat the aserai armies?
