Mods with only one Kingdom

I know the whole point of MnB is the chaos and politics of different kingdoms, BUT i was wondering if there are any mods with only one major kingdom or just 2 for a rebellion type playthrough. Can someone explain smithing to me?

I know its a great way to make money but ive never tried it. Im just a little too poor right now. Shortly after becoming a vassal i got two cities and a castle in the span of a week and i cant put any money into construction. We aren't at war with anyone so i need a way to make some cash.
