In the previous versions of the game I remember that setting horse archers to "charge" would make them circle the enemy while showering them with arrows, and "engage" will make them retreat from enemy's melee range while shooting as they retreat. In this version it doesn't seem to be working that way? I've sent them to charge and about half of them went melee and the other half was randomly walking around, shooting at the shieldwall's shields. What commands should I be using for Horse Archers? They sent in their cavalry too early and I managed to kill nearly all of them, then I flanked them with my own cavalry and cut them down. Pretty simple, but like I said my first time manually commanding my own troops and using tactics, not just “CHARGE” [link] [comments] |
