Monchug was feeling generous today.

I'm playing with some mods that heavily restrict recruitment, so my army is almost entirely bandits and mercenaries. On land, Monchug's army would destroy mine, but this isn't a land battle and he gifted me several amazing prizes. Playing as sturgia vassal and have the United empire war against us, and things are looking good. Should I restart?

First time playing the game I didn’t realize what was in store for me following the storyline and by the time I got a good foothold to support myself, now the United empire is wrecking me and sturgia. I’ve pretty much been wrecking the western empire by myself but can’t make any progress besides swapping a castle here or there. I have over 20 clan prisoners from western empire but can’t catch a break to go on the offensive. Should I just restart and delay the story?
