I just came back to the game after a year hiatus, and I'm thrilled they finally actually added mechanics rather than just doing endless bug and balance patches that somehow break every mod with every patch. I discovered the sneaking tutorial, and then found out that basically every stealth kill or every other stealth kill gives a level of roguery. (5 focus points) now I'm wondering what's the point of alleys anymore. They were never particularly good, but at least there was an argument to be made that they increased roguery. But now that I can just go farm hideout stealth missions, earn way more money, keep my companions in my party, and not gain crime in the process, I'm wondering what purpose alleys serve anymore? (Alley income should be ×10 imo) submitted by /u/forfor [link] [comments]
I love defending castles and towns, love being outnumbered. It’s genuinely so much fun and I’d play a whole game based on that (i guess this kinda is that game😂) BUT, it’s not very rewarding.
I just defended a castle in Aserai with 350 vlandians from 900 aserains. it was like 2 weeks in game time, 5-6 different siege attempts after we pushed them back, and after each battle i would see “you gained this loot and etc” and then my king came with an army to beat the remaining attackers, ending the siege.
and that was it. i didn’t get any loots. no extra gold. i guess renown and influence is cool but with how many people i killed/fought, i would’ve assume i’d get gold. but nothing.
am i wrong? do they give it automatically and i didn’t realize?
