Wanted to try some mods, specifically serve as soldier... The troubleshooting is driving me nuts.

Haven't messed around with mods in awhile, but I used nexus mods.

  • have the most up to date version of bannerlord

  • Downloaded and added serve as soldier

  • Serve as soldier says it needs harmony so I downloaded that

  • Game crashed on launch

  • I uninstalled all my other mods, including "game launch"

  • The bannerlord launcher no longer started the game when I hit play with the mods selected

  • I started going through the forum posts on nexus for serve as soldier, and saw something about 1.1.1.1 so I go into steam to manage bannerlord and change it to version 1.1.1.1

  • Launcher still does nothing when I hit play.

  • reinstalled game launcher fix mod, still does nothing with play button

  • change to regular version of the game, still does nothing

Hoooooooolleeeeeeeeeeey fuck, I just want to load some mods to get a fresh take on my bannerlord games but I've literally wasted an hour of my life troubleshooting.

Is there something I am missing? An hour of my life is gone, and I still can't get it to work... This is fucking annoying.

Detailed Mariner Unit Analysis/Tier List for Campaign

TL;DR Tier List. These are my personal notes and I acknowledge it is just my opinion, just posted to hopefully help others S: Imperial Naute A: Battanian Skipari, Vlandian Nauta, Nord Huscarl, B: Sturgian Reaver, Nord Berserkr, Aserai Bahriyyah, C: Corsair Chief, Nord Skjaldbrestir, Nord Chosen of the Sky-God, Sea Raider Chief D: Various Convoy Guards, Nord Ulfhedinn, F: Nord Youngling Testing is done in actual campaign as well as using custom battles and the Retinue mod to look directly at stats/equipment. General Observations: Shields are required, otherwise you get shredded by ranged attacks. Skills and ship upgrades can boost shield health massively, with some like the Nord Decorated Shield crossing 2,000 hp! I've seen Huscarls with 20+ Javelins in their unbroken shield at the end of a battle. I love PoP and think it's the best thing since Sliced Person, but the early game is bloody brutal, especially if you're used to kicking ass and taking names in M&B vanilla.
