Lower tier empire troops used to have Byzantine style helmets that looked great. Now they all just get padded coifs? Why? It looks awful. Their troops used to look cool, now they look like peasants roleplaying as assassins creed. Is it because the Nords don’t have much head protection so for “balance” instead of giving all low tier troops helmets they just got rid of them? Historically the FIRST piece of armor someone would get is a helmet… since the Bronze Age, even if all you have is a shirt, shield, and spear, the first piece of armor you’d get is a helmet. I am currently trying to win a campaign helping swadia. We had almost every town, one or two left to conquer. But suddenly kingdom of nords (the only other faction left) started to take over cities all over the map. I checked our factions and it seems that I am the only swadian vassal left... All the rest are with the nords... Is there any way I can fix this, through mods or something? I don't want this savefile to be ruined, i want the achievement of helping my ruler rule over calradia... Any ideas what even causes this?
