You people disgust me!

All I see on this sub is, "How do I kill my wife?", "How do I kill my King?". What happened to loyalty? What happened to romance? Maybe I'm just a simple man, but when I play this game there's a few things I do no matter what. I team up with CalaDawg and teach Dirthead the ancient Battanian technique of projectile induced dismounting. And I marry a nice Sturgian woman who I will love and protect until the day I die. Under absolutely NO circumstance do I use javelins for evil. God help any poor foolish AI who dares to capture my wife, because it won't be long before their head rolls. Call me old fashioned but I take the sacred vows of marriage seriously. submitted by /u/Friar_Corncob [link] [comments]

Solution for sieges being too easy

Solution for sieges being too easy

Make the siege towers taller and put archers on top, so they can shoot inside the walls. Also fix all catapult positions where the enemy AI archers can't shoot you.

In case you didn't know, the best strategy for defending your castle/town from a siege is to abandon the walls completely and just put your troops in the courtyard.

Put your archers in a line, in a position where they can see the top of the wall, any enemy that climbs the wall is instantly showered with arrows. Sometimes the enemy will form a shield wall, bait them with a small unit of melee troops, they will turn to face them and get shot in the back.

You can win battles that have you outnumbered 10 to 1 with this tactic, which is obviously unrealistic as losing the wall historically meant the siege was lost.

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
