It's Berzerk we're talking about here, and while it's certainly not the worst thing to be put into animation it's not exactly rainbows and puppies either. Keep it classy. So obviously I am starting with Griffith here and will assemble as much of a Band of the Hawk faithful ensemble as I can. I'll break down my choices on character Background. Vlandians- Pretty self explanatory, classical western european style knights and castles. Urban Merchants- Generally it is considered that Griffith came from a background of impoverished means/street urchin growing period. Urban Merchants places him in a town. Leadership Skills- showed talent and drive for leading others from a young age and... Alley Gangs- ...started out running around with other street rats, using charm and charisma to guide others Skirmishers- Always been a lithe and dexterous fighter who relies on athleticism and control, not the brute force meat shield. Defeated an Enemy- Got a reputation for himself by being bloodied early. Organized Travelers to break out- He really demonstrated his ability to manipulate others into fighting for him and his dream. This was just the first tangible instance of his extraordinary ability to turn failure into success. Feel free to jump in with your suggestions. I felt this was a good blend of Social, Leadership, his World Specific background (what they gave of it), and his fighting styles. Anyone done anything similar? This is on Vanilla, zero mods so there's only so much I can do to make him a pretty boy with white hair and a clean-shaven face. [link] [comments] |

So I wanted to write an early game guide to share my experience and hopefully help someone else get into the mod without as much agony as I (and many others) experienced. Character Creation - Questions When you start character creation, the game hits you with a bunch of background story questions. My advice is to answer these however you like, building the backstory for your character that interests you and helps get you into the story. However , these questions have serious impacts on the game, most critically whether you can create Knights of the Griffon chapters with just money, and something called the Rumor Interval which sounds irrelevant but is the most important thing ever .
