Declared war on allied mercenaries on load save?

I’m playing as southern Empire, have the Hidden Hand as mercenaries with a couple of their parties in my army. I started a big battle late at night, so half way through quit to go to bed, knowing I’d saved right before the battle anyway like a good little save scummer. Now when I reload any of the precious 3 autosaves I immediately declare war on the Hidden Hand and their parties abandon my Army. What the hell is going on? submitted by /u/Dependent-Ad3131 [link] [comments]

Outpost/Village/Settlement building should’ve been a thing by now…

I know, beating a dead horse and I’m glad we are getting naval combat along with the mods that improve the game as official additions. But Viking Conquest had buildable settlements, we should be able to do so too, especially involving raiding.

The Nords would do so well setting up war-ports along the coasts. Maybe they spawn in “patrols” of their own that raid and sack villages and caravans that pass through the area as a form of passive income for the owner. Or an Empire lord builds a fortress along their borders as a first line of defense, gradually improving their defenses over time.

All settlements would have upgrades that improve their defenses, storage, garrisons, and even provide unique abilities like building a coastal port to build ships in as well as dock, stone walls creating a nee castle, or settling veteran soldiers in your army to create something similar to Roman Veteran colonies which make hiring troops cheaper and grant you a small town, with the expectation that soldiers you hire will occasionally disband and settle in these colonies after a period of their service is up if you don’t renew their contracts.

There’s so much potential, especially of they just make a simplified version of the terrain/building editors so we could even create our own towns/villages from scratch in the already existing battle maps of the area.

Prophecy of Pendor - Early Game Guide

I love PoP and think it's the best thing since Sliced Person, but the early game is bloody brutal, especially if you're used to kicking ass and taking names in M&B vanilla. So I wanted to write an early game guide to share my experience and hopefully help someone else get into the mod without as much agony as I (and many others) experienced. Character Creation - Questions When you start character creation, the game hits you with a bunch of background story questions. My advice is to answer these however you like, building the backstory for your character that interests you and helps get you into the story. However , these questions have serious impacts on the game, most critically whether you can create Knights of the Griffon chapters with just money, and something called the Rumor Interval which sounds irrelevant but is the most important thing ever . TaleWorlds Forums

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
