All I see on this sub is, "How do I kill my wife?", "How do I kill my King?". What happened to loyalty? What happened to romance? Maybe I'm just a simple man, but when I play this game there's a few things I do no matter what. I team up with CalaDawg and teach Dirthead the ancient Battanian technique of projectile induced dismounting. And I marry a nice Sturgian woman who I will love and protect until the day I die. Under absolutely NO circumstance do I use javelins for evil. God help any poor foolish AI who dares to capture my wife, because it won't be long before their head rolls. At first I was Very excited for the war sails DLC. And it was amazing at first with the ships and stuff. Then I realized the nords were so weak. This most recent patch has made me pretty optimistic with TW rn. They did good work fixing up the nords so quickly along with bugs and a number of crash fixes. They listened, and quickly.
I saw so so many comments saying "Let's wait 4 months for them to get buffed" and "Welp this won't be fixed in my life time, time to install mods" and i understand. But This is good shit rn. And it's getting better. I was disappointed with how pathetic nords were and replaying my campaign with 30 Huscarls and 20 Sky gods chosen is a WORLD of a difference. They are at minimum 3x more lethal on land. They are disgusting. Anyways very happy with this DLC.
As someone who is incredibly stingy and waits for crazy steam sales, I think this is worth it.
