Is there a mod that changes the formation system to the one from Warband?

In Warband you would allocate troops to formations on your party screen. You could put individual troops in formation 1,2, 3 etc. In bannerlord it feels cumbersome having to do it in the battle deployment screen using the sliders. Is there a way to change this? submitted by /u/FingersToKeyboard [link] [comments]

What is the USP of Vlandia?

Hello all,

I've been playing with the various factions and they all seem to have their own niche except for Vlandia. From what I can tell the cavalry is inferior to the Empire cavalry, their crossbows whilst good are not game changers, and their infantry is mid tier when compared to other factions.

I've tried various combinations of armies and just can't seem to find much success. You seem to have to rely rather heavily on cavalry and crossbows, however that means that your shield wall gets smaller and smaller, meaning eventually it reaches a critical mass where it is gets punched through too quickly for your crossbows to be able to make a difference. I'm not sure about the ratios of cavalry to infantry/crossbows but I was trying 40% infantry, 40% crossbow, 20% cavalry and having very 'meh' results. If anyone knows a better ratio it'd be greatly appreciated. The tactics I've been using are to have a loose long line of crossbows and move an infantry shield wall up through it before the enemy engage my crossbows (I'd like to point out I'm using exclusively Vlandian troops, nothing from other factions). I've been using my cavalry 2 ranks deep however I'm not sure if it's better to use a long line or 3 ranks 4 ranks deep etc?

Larger battles seem to favour dense infantry formations as cavalry get stuck in them and get mobbed, and shield walls in these battles make armies almost immune to ranged units. Because of this when I've tried it Vlandia's weaker infantry tend to lose in melee, their cavalry get stuck in the dense infantry formations and the crossbows whilst strong don't seem to do enough damage against an enemy shield wall to make them worthwhile. Because of this I've only really found success in smaller battles, raiding villages etc, making the campaign rather difficult.

If anyone has any tips or things I'm doing wrong help would be greatly appreciated, many thanks.

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it. Dickplomacy Reloaded!

Hello everyone! :D I just made a mod, it's called Dickplomacy Reloaded. Basically it adds the functionality that you would find in normal mods, such as Dynamic Troop Trees, Custom Troop Trees, Freelancer, Tournament Play Enhancements, Single Screen Character Creation, and Rubiks World Map into Dickplomacy. ^-^ It also doesn't require WSE, but you still need the older (exe) version of Warband that comes with Dickplomacy. (Though I haven't tested it with the newest version of Warband so it might work.) Also, if you do decide to download it, please ignore (DO NOT USE) the "content options" folder, it is legacy, and the mod is compiled from source with all features. (This mod includes source btw) https://www.nexusmods.com/mbwarband/mods/6243/?tab=description Also, I am hoping to support it in the future, i.e through content updates and bug fixes. I hope everyone likes it!! :D Submitted August 11, 2018 at 09:48PM by amazing_lily https://ift.tt/2KMd9rK

Bannerlord + ArtMoney. Who uses with?

Money -- no problem. Troops -- no problem. Attribute & Focus points -- no problem. Renown -- no problem. Inventory stuff (weapons, armor etc.), food, goods -- no problem. Even smithy stamina is no problem at all. But how do I can search and modify xp for upgrading my battle & other perks? For example: I want crossbow skill 250, what algorithm?
